Strong purple-red veins make this variety a striking foliage accent in the semi shaded garden. Cut the flower stalks when they appear as they are inconspicuous and the plant is mainly grown for the foliage. Use in mass plantings.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade in moderately fertile, well drained soil. Does well in moist conditions.
