Miscanthus November Sunset

General Description:
-Adagio: Use as specimens or in small masses. Excellent plant to use near water. Best in full sun. Heavy shade causes this grass to be less vigorous, with decreased flowering and tendency to flop. Tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Clumps slowly expand in circumference by short rhizomes, but retain tight clump shape. Foliage should be left standing throughout the winter for visual interest and to provide protection for the crowns. Bears many narrow pink hued plumes aging to white.
-November Sunset: This grass has narrow crisp green leaves with a white midrib and forms an upright clump, typically growing 6-8' (when in flower). Foliage turns gold/orange after frost, fading to tan in winter. Tiny reddish flowers appear in tassel-like inflorescences above the foliage in late summer, gradually turning into large silvery white plumes in fall. Flower plumes persist well into winter providing good winter interest.
-Bluetenwunder: Red foliage. Pink flowers in late summer. Ht 24-36" Flower ht 50-60"
