General Description:
The large, strongly flavored flowers taste of citrus, thyme or mint. Young leaf tips or flowers improve both flavor and appearance of salads. Cut flowers as soon as they are fully open. Use sparingly to avoid overpowering effect. The leaves may be infused as tea similar to Earl Grey. Flower color and flavor keeps well when dried or preserved in oil or vinegar. Keep in airtight jar and flowers will last up to three months. The orange scent makes it a good choice for potpourris. Great border plant that attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
