General Description:
Fast growing bushy annual is valued for its unusual spidery flowers. Spider-like flowers with long waving stamens, held on strong leafy stems make a dramatic statement in borders, beds and flower arrangements. An airy elegant plant for back borders. The fragrant blooms measure 5-7 inches across. Looks at home among shrubs and perennials. Most effective when planted in groups. Often reseeds. Lower leaves tend to fall at the end of the summer but can be covered by companion plants. Makes excellent cut flower. Not bothered by pests or diseases. A hummingbird favorite.

Care and Maintenance:
Tolerates heat and dry weather well. Protection from strong winds advisable. Marginally frost hardy, they require full sun and fertile, well drained soil.
