General Description:
Clear lilac cluster blooms appear in early spring followed by the foliage. Flowers resemble those of Bergenia. Large, dramatic round lobed leaves are up to 24 inches across. This large clump forming plant comes from cool, damp to wet areas and as such makes a good specimen on muddy banks and by streams. Very vigorous grower.

Care and Maintenance:
Frost tolerant, but not drought resistant. Does best in part/full shade and moist to wet areas. Will grow in full sun if kept moist.
