General Description:
A low growing evergreen groundcouver, the heather garden can give a colorful display with little maintenance and will last 15-25 years. The tiny, generally evergreen leaves may change color after a frost. Flowering from mid-to-late summer in whites, pinks and purples, the small, bell shaped flowers are displayed gracefully on one-sided spikes. Heathers are marvelous fresh or dried.

Care and Maintenance:
Plant in full sun to part shade. Well drained, slightly acidic soil. Do not over water, but keep moderately moist.
Calluna should be pruned back in spring to just below the flowers to maintain a tidy plant as well as encourage vigorous new growth and flowers.
