Low growing/spreading evergreen ground cover. Dark green leaves are lustrous and turn dark red in the fall. Small urn shaped pink blooms turn red and then turn into bright red berries.
Care and Maintenance:
It is usually found in well-drained habitat, such as open woodland and gravel terraces. Likes infertile soil and prefers sun to part shade. Requires snow cover in winter to protect it. Does not tolerate salt, so do not plant on roadside or beside the sidewalk.
