General Description:
Grows to the size of cattails when grown in water and to 40" in regular garden soil. Very vigorous. Attractive all season with foliage similar to the germanica. Effective used as a specimen. Leaves deep green with lighter variegation. Keeps it's variegation best in part shade.

Care and Maintenance:
Water loving Iris which should be planted on the pond's edge or into the shallow areas of a pond or stream. These plants also do very well in swamps and areas that stay too wet for even grass to grow. Suitable soil is well-drained/loamy.
