General Description:
Spherical, metallic blue flower heads, up to 2 inches in diameter, on thistle-like plants. Dramatic garden plant with deeply cut, grey-green leaves. Bold, attractive addition to mixed or herbaceous borders. The globelike flowers can be cut and dried for indoor decoration.

Care and Maintenance:
Frost hardy, drought tolerant, easy to care for. Requires nothing more than a sunny area with a well drained soil of any quality. Cut to ground in fall. Spiny leaves - keep children away.
