Pale blue flowers resembling Forget-Me-Nots. Heart-shaped leaves with a spreading habit. Clumps spread slowly underground but self seed readily if conditions are right, making excellent ground cover under trees and shrubs.
Langtrees -Leaves pure green, with occassional silver splotch
Variegata -Leaves are green in the centre, with creamy white edges
Jack Frost -Leaves have silver overlay on entire leaf
Care and Maintenance:
Not drought tolerant. Give morning sun and afternoon shade. Plants will go dormant if allowed to dry out. As woodland plants they prefer humus-rich soil with a leafy mulch and dappled shade. Very cold hardy.
