General Description:
Early spring flowering with rosy-pink flowers above glossy, broad, rounded leaves. Foliage turns red-purple in the fall. Will often reflower later in the season. Works well in clumps and borders. Long-lived and never needs staking. Tolerant of exposed sites and moist ground beside streams or ponds, but leaves color most strongly when plants are grown under drier conditions.

Care and Maintenance:
Tolerant of a wide range of soils. Prefer partial shade but if the soil is moist will thrive in sun. Water well in hot weather and remove spent flowers to prolong flowering.
