General Description:
Deciduous perennial native to woodlands of North America. Coarse textured heart shaped leaves 2-3" wide, rising on hairy stalks to 8" high. Great ground cover for shady area. Flowers are hidden under leaves in spring.

Care and Maintenance:
Prefers a shady site in moist, well drained soil. They spread rapidly. Prone to attack from slugs.
