General Description:
Grown as a foliage plant since the small yellowish flowers are inconspicuous. Very aromatic when leaves are crushed.
schmidtiana Nana (Silver Mound) -one of best silvery fine textured foliage plants. Cut back in late June to prevent flowering, causing unsightly opening of the centre of the clump.
stelleriana Silver Brocade -deeply lobed and divided grey-white foliage, felty leaves form 6-12" prostrate mats. Requires good drainage.

Care and Maintenance:
Grow in full sun in well drained, infertile soil. Does well in hot locations, very drought tolerant.
