General Description:
These graceful, clump forming, old fashioned perennials are grown for their spurred, bell shaped flowers in a wide color range and for their fern like foliage. They flower mostly in late spring to early summer and look best in bold clumps with a foreground planting of annuals. Attracts hummingbirds.

-flabellata -6-8" hardy alpine species with soft blue green ferny leaves and nodding purple-blue flowers. A summer flowering species which grows to about 18 inches.
-Biedermeier -dwarf hybrid with large flowers in mixed colors
-Irish Elegance -18-24" historical variety with large white flowers and green lipped petals
-Petticoats -double flowers
-Black Barlow 24-28" double very dark blooms
-Ruby Port -24-28" double wind red blooms

Care and Maintenance:
Tolerant of any soil, except very heavy clay. Cut back after flowering to encourage new growth. Best planted where it will receive morning sun and afternoon shade.
